    Distributional analysis of the genus Chromulina Cienk. in the algal flora of Ukraine is done. Peculiarities of zonal distribution of the genus are discussed. The description and the figure of the newly recorded species are presented. Chromulina verrucosa G.A. is a new species for the Ukrainian flora of algae.
