    Under the conditions of globalization, the influence of global product markets and external economic relations on the development of national economies and individual sectors of the national economy is increasing. The world market has a significant impact on agriculture in different countries, being one of the sources of satisfaction for supranational food demand. The situation on global food markets influences the level of food supply and social stability in different regions. The purpose of the research is to investigate the typology of the countries of the world and their significance in the development of planetary megatendences. The results obtained allow us to find our place amongst other countries and to fix orientation to tend towards them.
