This study explores the capacity of the public administration to capitalize on the potential of migration for the development of communities and the strengthening of social and economic resilience. We discuss, on the one hand, the implemented migration policies, integrating them into three important categories: aimed at the integration of migration into national development strategies, the recognition of the diaspora as an agent of development, and support for return and integration. And on the other hand, we analyze the instruments already used in the practices of capitalizing on the development potential of migration at the local level (the development of native associations, projects with a migration impact at the local level, etc.).romigrationsocial resiliencelocal public administrationnative associationsdiasporaMigrația - proces inerent al rezilienței sociale la nivelul administrației publice localeArticle
