The study offers an overview of the writer’s creation, poetics and ideological position, as well as of her reception in the French university environment. The article highlights the author’s sociological and feminist perspective, her cultural affiliations, intertextuality and her vision of the contemporary novel, assumed as a “mission” of “revelation”, “transformation” and “liberation”. In the analysis of the novel, a particular role belongs to the concept of “class transmigration”, which establishes an intertextual dialogue with the French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu. Les armoires vides is a novel that shows very clearly social differences and injustice dissembled in the “normality” of life and in the triumphalist march of libertarian and inclusive policies.rofeminismintertextualityANNIE ERNAUX: ROMANUL CA SPAȚIU AL LIBERTĂȚII ȘI EMANCIPĂRIIArticle
