For the development of rural tourism, it is worth mentioning that it is a rather new and promising branch of tourism activity, the essence of which lies in the fact that almost all tourism services in rural areas are provided by the inhabitants of these villages, from accommodation and food services to recreation. In the context of developing the prospects for rural tourism, it is necessary to analyze the statistical data and indicate in general terms the forms of tourist activity taking place on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
