Phytocomplexes accelerate and normalize metabolism, regenerate intestinal villi and detoxify the body, having hypoglycemic effects and numerous other therapeutic benefits. The study was carried out on white laboratory rats, divided into four groups. Diabetes mellitus was induced by the administration of 5% alloxan solution. The hematological analyzes were performed using the hematological analyzer Erma PCE 210. The phytopreparation Hemareg D includes: Echinacea purpureia, Potentilla alba and Taraxacum officinale. Research results have identified a decrease in the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin concentration and hematocrit in experimental diabetes, but the administration of the phytopreparation kept these values close to normal limits.
