This article examines how AI and new technologies can modernize the teaching of Spanish in the Eastern European context, where the educational approach remains heavily influenced by the grammar-translation method and where curricula often lack contemporary cultural elements. Tools such as ChatGPT, Kahoot!, and Genially, among others, are discussed, highlighting their potential to enhance classroom interaction and personalize learning. Additionally, Spain’s commitment to promoting Spanish abroad and the need to integrate digital strategies into international educational programs are analyzed.
