Their frequency requires a thorough research of them. In a series of previous articles we highlighted the semantic categories that common deverbal nouns update (action names, state names, emotions, object names, action results, place names, temporal notions or natural phenomena). However, there are a number of nouns derived from the verb that have migrated to the category of proper nouns, being part of Christian terminology. More precisely, these are proper names that refer to the category of the sacred, being known as aghionime (hagionime). The current work is oriented towards this class of proper names in Christian terminology used in Romanian akathist.roakathistdeverbal nounproper nameChristian terminologyholy nameLEXIC AGHIONIMIC EXPRIMAT PRIN SUBSTANTIVE DEVERBALE ÎN ACATISTOGRAFIA ROMÂNEASCĂHOLY PROPER NAMES EXPRESSED BY DEVERBAL NOUNS IN ROMANIAN ACATISTOGRAPHYArticle
