These analyses are necessary to guide librarians, managers, and policymakers in making informed decisions aimed at enhancing the role and impact of libraries in higher education. The research methods include the analysis of relevant documents and evaluations by the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). The results indicate a significant transformation of libraries influenced by technological advancements and social changes. The main trends identified include digital transformation, the integration of artificial intelligence, and a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of remote services and digital resources.
