This article examines how victims are interviewed within judicial systems, focusing on practices in Moldova. Current challenges are identified, and solutions are proposed to improve the hearing process, ensuring dignified and respectful treatment of victims. By comparing Moldovan practices, European Court of Human Rights standards, and methods used in the USA, a comprehensive perspective on addressing this issue is offered.
