A set of ancestral motifs and symbols such as a well, road, water, acquire new valances in the poetry of Cezar Baltag. The poetry doesn’t contradict the old symbology but he offers it new connotative functions through infinitesimal detail. His poetry creates an enchanting world, at the hypnotic border, dominated by an abstract female being, by a supreme, omniscient and omnipotent deity, through which, the great mysteries of life are weaved and untied or are locked forever.roCezar Baltagfolkloreancestral symbolsMOTIVE DE BASM ÎN OPERA LUI CEZAR BALTAGFairy Tale Motifs in the Work of Caesar BaltagArticle
