It is regarding the process of adopting of the official position of the academic community, implicitly, towards the official denomination of the language which is spoken in the Republic of Moldova territory. The paper reveals the contribution of the Moldovan scientists to the establishment, promotion and circulation in this territory of the correct glotonim – Romanian language.În articol se prezintă aspecte din istoricul adoptării Hotărârii Prezidiului Academiei de Ştiinţe a Moldovei nr. 75 din 09.09.1994.
