Aiming to identify key factors that enhance individual and community resili-ence, the research explores how Moldovan citizens perceive and respond to socio-economic difficulties. Uti-lizing a mixed-methods approach, including focus groups and in-depth interviews, the study investigates the role of individual and community resources, educational attainment, health, civic engagement, and social net-works in fostering resilience. The findings reveal significant variations in resilience levels across different social and regional groups and highlight the crucial impact of social capital and adaptive strategies in miti-gating the effects of adversity.
