The crime scene can be the workplace of the victim, generally accepted idea, but there are a lot of exceptions. The prison environment, intentionally designed to disempower, limiting choice and removing liberty as a punishment for offences, can also become a crime scene. And this happens even if the place is well guarded by the law enforcement. This can be explained by the presence of several categories of vulnerable people and the criminal energy of prison. Another explanation that can be accepted is that the penitentiary is a place of subcultural processes. All these subcultural processes have a repressive effect and cause a favorable environment for crime. The subcultural processes also lead to a significant number of unpunished crimes. From this point of view, the securization of people in detention becomes an imperative, being necessary the elaboration of prevention and protection strategies.rocriminal subculturesexual harassmentpenitentiary criminalityvictimizationvulnerabilityHĂRȚUIREA SEXUALĂ ÎN PENITENCIAR – EFECT REPRESIV AL NORMELOR DE SUBCULTURĂArticle
