In these circumstances, the assertion of the national state has the irreversible consequences. Meanwhile the political situation in the country is unclear and duplicitous. Political dynamics of the Moldovan state was deeply influenced by the ethnic factors. Most of the current problems of transitional macro level essentially for the particular interests related to national identity, the nature of socio-political relations, relations goal-means mentality and descend from the totalitarian Soviet regime. Soviet state was not in fact a nation-state but centralized multiethnic state in which statehood nations have a formal character. The fight against the Soviet Union took the nationalist shape with popular support on behalf of the nation, especially in the Baltic republics, Russia,Ukraine, and Moldova.
