The archaeological monument ,,Trajan’s Walls” in the Republic of Moldova presents a research object of both historical-cultural and pedological interest. The studies carried out elucidate that the soil in the ditch, the one in the wall and the one in the vicinity of the wall have the same origin according to the type of soil, physical and chemical parameters, and the soil profiles in the ditch and in the wall reflect the anthropic implication in a distant period of time.
