Considering that the „government” refers to the state institutions and structures, the decision-making processes, the implementation capacity, the relationship between authorities and citizens, we consider that it a complex and multidimensional concept. Thus, drawing on the interdisciplinary methodological framework, we aim to analyze governance - as a concept, to identify the main approach but also to emphasize its relevance and operational utility; - as a process, which comprise the dimensions such as politics, instruments, mechanisms, and values and which contribute to the better functionality of government; - as a final goal, through which the efficiency and effectiveness of the government is assessed and the satisfaction of citizens is measured.
