Civic participation, encompassing activities such as voting, volunteering, and com-munity involvement, plays a critical role in enhancing social resilience—the capacity of communities to with-stand and recover from challenges. The study examines various theoretical frameworks related to civic en-gagement, including the Civic Voluntarism Model, Mobilization Theory, and Social Capital Theory.
