It is constantly evolving and changing to best suit a patient’s needs. New technologies, methods and approaches to teeth treatment and prosthetics impose numerous challenges to generating new terminology. This paper focuses on the development of dental care terminology, analysing the issue of term formation patterns and the main categories of terms.
