The specific nature of the phenomenon of enantiosemy is that an enantionym combines within itself two opposite meanings. The majority of contemporary scholars emphasize that, in the use of speech, the possibility of enantiosemic words appearing is practically unlimited, which allows us to state that enantiosemy is a very widespread phenomenon.roArticle
