Diferite realităţi ale spaţiului profesional,precum rezultatele muncii, performanţele, starea psihologică a beneficiarilor,sunt influenţate,indubitabil, de satisfacţia în muncă. În articol sunt prezentate o sinteză teoretică a factorilor determinanţi ai satisfacţiei în muncă şi rezultate empirice privind satisfacţia în muncă a cadrelor didactice din instituţiile medii de specialitate. În urmademersului experimental a fost atestată preponderenţ a unui nivel mediu şi ridicat al satisfacţiei în muncă, iar dimensiunile asociate cel mai frecvent cu satisfacţia în muncă sunt colegii, supervizarea, natura muncii şi comunicarea.The issue of job satisfaction is a central topic in organ izational psychology, representing a psychological reality that directly affects the individual, the institution and the professional community. Different realities of the professional life like the results of the work, performances, psychological state o f beneficiaries are undoubtedly influenced by job satisfaction. The paper presents a theoretical synthesis on the main factors of job satisfaction and empirical results on the subject of job satisfaction of the teachers working in middle education institutions.
