The author combats certain criteria of terminologisation such as neosemanticism and the lack of synonymy, by proving by dint of examples that technical-scientific terms are polysemous and attest to synonyms. The dynamics of the spheres of scientific terminology is also due, according to the author, to the secondary semiosis in which metaphor plays a decisive role. Apart from this, the technical-scientific progress which is often ensured by researchers publishing their works in English, determines the influence of English on the scientific terminology of other natural languages.roterminological synonymyreferential domainterminological polysemyArticle
