    This article analyzes the current significance of diplomatic protocol and ceremonial in the achievement of the international legal framework. Implementing various activities of the foreign diplomatic service each state follows certain traditions, conventions and rules. Diplomatic protocol is an important tool to implement the basic principles of foreign policy. Diplomatic activity of Republic of Moldova is based on the compliance with generally accepted protocol principles of label and international courtesy.
